| Aug. 29, 2011Autumn of Gypsy Devils in Germany starts with a concert with the absolute top performers worldwide! The presence of Gypsy Devils in Slovakia during autumn months is going to be very rare. However, their absence can be easily explained - from September until November they shall perform up to 25 concerts abroad in Germany, Russia and in Czech Republic.
Especially Germany plays a key role in their international activities. They shall play up to 18 concerts in one of the most culturally developed country worldwide, what can be considered as a real break-trough to the new music market.
Already the first concert shall be a real challenge; on 17 September the Gypsy Devils are performing at the Beethovenfest in Bonn. This festival belongs to the top music festivals worldwide, which is also indicated by names of the artist performing at the next festival. For instance, the legendary conductor Zubin Mehta, violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter, pianist Helene Grimaud or Goran Bregovič with his Wedding & Funeral Orchestra are performing in Bonn in September.
„We are very pleased to perform at the Beethovenfest. Names of other artists indicate that the absolute top of music world will meet in Bonn during that period. I consider the German audience as very educated and very curios regarding musical innovations. We experienced it three years ago when we performed in the Berliner Philharmoniker as well as at dozens of other concerts played in Germany during the past four years" as revealed by Ernest Šarközi, the artistic director of the Gypsy Devils.
Like in Bonn, the Gypsy Devils shall perform at other autumn concerts in Germany together with Austrian piano virtuoso Paul Gulda and they will present the extraordinary successful project the Roma Rhapsody which is dedicated to the 250th Anniversary of the Birth of Franz Liszt.
In September, the Gypsy Devils are playing together with Paul Gulda in the German city of Pirmasens and at the beginning of November the three-week tour starts, which includes performances in cities like Ratingen, Iserlohn, Kleve, Paderborn, Unna, Bottrop, Hamm and others.

The Gypsy Devils’ popularity is also on the rise in the Czech Republic, thanks in part to the Adagio & Furioso CD, which was released by Supraphone from Prague and which has received positive reviews from the Czech media. As a result of this, new cooperation has come about with top Czech musicians, among whom figures the violin virtuoso Jaroslav Svěcený, “with whom we will be undertaking a tour of Czech and Slovak cities next year,” was the information from the orchestra’s manager and producer, Daniel Rabina.
